My love for all things home décor began back in 2007 when I started decorating my home for Christmas. I always knew I loved everything about Christmas, from the classic holiday music, the beautiful decor, the sparkling lights and the endless possibilities for themed Christmas trees! I am the type of person that every time I walk into a store and see Christmas décor, I immediately get a sense of calm and happiness and suddenly life is perfect and nothing else matters. This passion quickly expanded into decorating for all other holidays and event planning, where every celebration had its own theme…and trust me there was not a detail missed at these events! I was constantly told by friends I should do this for a living and share this passion with others, which segued into launching my own home staging business in 2018. I quickly became very involved in the home staging industry and won multiple awards {click here} for my work and customer relations. After 3 years of running this business, my family and I made a very bold decision to relocate to another state for a change in pace and life. I am California born and raised and we chose Texas as our new home. In 2021, we purchased a newer builder-grade home, but having the “designer’s brain” that I have, I wanted to make a lot of changes and customize our home. That is when I decided it was time for me to pivot out of home staging and do something where I could continue to expand my passion for home design and décor and in doing so could also provide inspiration and tips to others. Which brings us here to Roxy Home Living. I have so much to share with you and I am very excited to pass along the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my journey.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Paul, since June 10, 2005. Together we enjoy traveling, entertaining and of course a beautiful home! He has been my rock, my go to and my support system, whether it be cheering me on from the sidelines or rolling up his sleeves to help me achieve my goals. We have 1 daughter, 4 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson. All of our sons are now young adults and our daughter is in high school.
When I'm not blogging, I enjoy spending my time creating, designing, planning travel & parties in between keeping in touch with my grown sons, my adorable grandchildren and raising my teenage daughter with my husband.
